We have been appointed to the panel of lawyers to act on behalf of members of the Police Superintendents Association and the Chief Police Officers Staff Association. As a result of this we have acted for senior police officers across the country accused of either misconduct issues or criminal matters or both. We have acted in matters that have attracted national publicity and are extremely sensitive, high profile cases.
We are not afraid to challenge the allegations and we will robustly defend our clients in often politically sensitive matters. Our team will advise clients facing internal investigations from the Professional Standards department or matters that have been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). These cases more often than not are an attack on the honesty and integrity of an officer. This can be extremely difficult for an officer to deal with and often leads to very stressful working conditions.
